Project Description
Smurfit Kappa is Europe’s leading corrugated packaging company. DFC was appointed to provide a fire strategy for the 160,000sq ft extension to their existing production facility in North Wales. The expansion will see the installation of equipment that conflicts with traditional means of escape and compartmentation conditions. Working with the client and design team, DFC produced a fire strategy report for the full building to enable a design that meets Part B of the Building Regulations and insurer requirements.
