Project Description
No.2 Circle Square is the new home for taxi software company Autocab; their 20,000sq ft Manchester HQ is set across Levels 15 and 16 of the 17-storey office development.
DFC developed the base-build fire strategy for the No.1 and No.2 Circle Square buildings from design through to handover and were therefore naturally suited to accommodate the bespoke fit-out designs. The fit-out design at Autocab includes a bleacher-style open-stair between the two floors which breaches the compartment floor specified by the base-build. DFC conducted Structural Fire Engineering analysis to demonstrate the proposed open-stair maintained consistency with the base-build intent, and the proposals has satisfied the landlord’s fire safety requirements.
