Application Process

As an independent company, we take pride in upholding a standard of excellence in communication with all applicants. Our approachable Business Support team is dedicated to maintaining seamless communications throughout the entire five-step process. They are here to address any queries you may have, and to co-ordinate timelines, ensuring a transparent and supportive experience for all candidates.

Once you have prepared your CV and Covering Letter, select your role and click on ‘Apply For This Role’.

This will launch your mail application, with the relevant details such as email address and subject line information filled in for ease.

Only one application per person, per role will be considered.

If you wish to provide text within the email, you can, however please only use this to provide clarifications, for example, if you are open to more than one location or if you want to share your requirements for any adjustments during the following stages, so we can support you.

Please attach your CV and Covering Letter before clicking send.

Following a successful review of your CV and Covering Letter, you will be invited to interview at a suitable time with typically two members of the team. This will be held in person where possible and if not, on a Microsoft Teams call, and will last approximately 1 hour.

Following a successful first interview, we would typically invite you back for a second interview, with different members of our team. This provides you with the opportunity to gain diverse perspectives on the role and company. Furthermore, this gives us the opportunity to further confirm your suitability for the position through input from additional team members.

To uphold fairness and promote an inclusive environment, all interviews will be led by a team member who has completed training specifically for conducting interviews, to ensure our evaluation process is a fair assessment of each candidate and potential fit within DFC.

If successful, our team will be in contact to make an offer of employment. The offer of employment will outline the key information relating to the role offered, for you to review.

Once you have confirmed that DFC is the right place for you, our team will proceed with the final step.

Quite often handing in your notice can be unnerving. If you are required to work a notice period with your current employer, DFC will keep in contact to support you throughout this time, should you wish.

Once you have accepted the offer, our team will conduct checks, including background checks from previous employers and verifying your qualifications from universities/colleges.
