Gemma is based in our London Office and has a wealth of experience in fire safety engineering, having navigated diverse projects in both the UAE and the UK, across various sectors.
Prior to joining DFC, Gemma was employed by a large multi-discipline engineering consultancy firm and gained experience on a wide range of projects across different sectors including Commercial, Heritage and Rail, from RIBA Stage 2 through to RIBA Stage 6. Gemma has a particular interest in Commercial and Heritage buildings. She enjoys collaborating with other disciplines and contractors to develop solutions that can be implemented seamlessly in design, construction and operation of a building, bringing this whole cycle thinking to fire engineering on each of her projects. Her key strengths are formulating solutions and mitigation measures that intricately support both the design and construction processes.
Gemma takes immense pride in her contributions to landmark projects such as Liverpool Street Crossrail Station, the V&A Museum in London and Birmingham New Street Station.
