Craig Howard
Director
Craig co-founded Design Fire Consultants in 2010. He has significant experience in developing fire engineering solutions for a wide variety of buildings both in the UK and internationally. One of Craig’s strengths is the ability to communicate complex issues in a concise and unambiguous manner.
As the lead fire engineer for multiple projects in the Middle East, Craig has an in-depth knowledge of International design codes and standards, with the ability to ensure that their adoption does not result in restrictions to the aesthetic aspirations of the design.
Projects of note include the iconic Battersea Power Station redevelopment in London and the high profile Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, where the fire strategies required a careful balance of functional requirements and sympathetic design.
