Project Description
DFC are proud to have provided the fire strategy for the Leeds Arts University, a key cultural and educational hub in the city centre of Leeds. The fire strategy delivers a suitable level of life safety whilst also ensuring a robust strategy for property protection for student projects and for business continuity. The fire strategy incorporates bespoke measures to accommodate the variety of uses within the building, the need for social areas within bright and open spaces and affording the opportunity for events. We provided fire safety design advice throughout RIBA Stage 2 to RIBA Stage 4 to obtain Building Regulations approval and assisted the principal contractor through construction and handover to ensure smooth handover and successful implementation of the fire strategy.
