Plot E of the Great Jackson Street masterplan provides 399 residential units and 7,266 sq ft of commercial space spread over three high-rise towers, peaking at 30 storeys in height. A shared basement car park is provided for residents beneath the three plots. Accommodation is provided by a combination of townhouses, apartments and homes designed specifically for the Over 55s.
DFC have been involved since conception and are providing fire engineering services to enable open-plan living and mechanical smoke exhaust for increased floorplate efficiency of the towers. Integration of the basement parking accommodation with the residential units above is key to the fire strategy.
