Project Description

DFC has been appointed on Trinity Riverside and Riverview to provide fire strategy advice for this large scale 508 apartment scheme.

Efficiency is key for our client Select Property Group with extended travel distances made possible by enhanced smoke ventilation to the common corridors which increases occupant and fire fighter safety. DFC have also assisted with site logistical planning to ensure adjacent buildings remain in full operation during construction.  Input into fire service access, occupant egress and management response delivers the challenging construction schedule.

DFC staff have been involved in the redrafting of residential fire safety standard BS9991.  This knowledge has enabled clear guidance and advice to be provided on the adoption of open plan apartments.
