Anna joined DFC’s London office in October 2019. She has previously done a summer placement with DFC in Leeds and has now returned after finishing her master’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Edinburgh.
She possesses a wide range of experience having worked and studied in Sweden, Canada, UAE, and France as well as in the UK. She has previous site experience from working in road construction and design and computational skills from her studies and completing a master’s thesis relying on finite element modelling.
Anna’s interest in fire engineering was first sparked during her 4th year at University and since then she has done an internship with DFC as well as added more fire safety engineering modules to her degree, such as Structural Design for Fire and Fire Safety Engineering.
Her strengths and interests lie in problem solving and integrated design; considering all key stakeholders and design drivers in creating the ultimate solution.
Qualifications: MEng, AIFireE, GMICE
