Adeyanju joined DFC in July 2019. She has a Civil/Structural Engineering background with a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from Imperial College London. She also recently completed her PhD in Blast and Structural Fire Engineering at Imperial College London.
Adeyanju previously worked as a Structural Engineer on a range of bridge and building projects from design to construction phase in Nigeria. With over 4 years research experience, she also has technical expertise in designing structures to withstand extreme loading conditions in particular, explosions and travelling fire using performance-based methods.
At DFC, she has developed fire safety strategies for several buildings including warehouses, office buildings, residential buildings and mixed-use developments. She has also used her knowledge of Structural Fire Engineering to solve fire engineering problems in office structures.
Her key interests include numerical fire modelling, programming, problem solving, project management and structural fire design.
